Thinking of running away to uncharted seas to elope with your love? If you’re on the fence, this seaside Sardinian elopement from Valeria Mameli could have you booking that flight and saying “I do” on the shores of Italy – pronto.

Filled with classic Italian orange blooms, a bohemian and romantic ruffled dress and vintage-inspired lace capelet the styling in this elopement shoot is pretty and casual perfect for a free-spirited runaway bride and groom. The sea breezes make this ruffled gown

Saving on the entire wedding, eloping couples can thus splurge on the details they care about: the cake! We can’t get enough of the tiered naked cake, adorned with orange, copper and blush flowers, it’s grandeur knocks this casual affair into luxe intimate wedding status.

From Valeria Mameli

This elopement is imagined in my homeland of Sardinia, in one of the most beautiful and unique places: The Pelosa Beach in Stintino.

It is a true Sardinian oasis, with its turquoise waters and white sands. La Pelosa beach is accompanied by an ancient sixteenth-century watchtower, the Torre della Pelosa, that used to be part of Sardinia’s marine defense system.

The colors are warm: copper, orange, cream. Strong materials, such as the wedding dress, a unique piece of Elisabetta Delogu, a talented Sardinian stylist. All the work on this shoot brings a spirit of warmth, freedom, personality, origin, land. Because Sardinia is this thick and I wanted to show it.
